Naomi Campbell Says She's No Role Model

Naomi admits,
"I make many mistakes. Many mistakes. I'm not a perfect human being. I have to learn from my mistakes. And a lot of the ones I've made have been public.

"So I always get nervous when people speak about something that sounds like a role model, because I don't know if I've been a great role model myself. I don't think I have in certain aspects of my life.

"But I'm trying to do better. I admit to my mistakes. I admit to the things that I've done wrong. I admit it. But I'm trying to do right by myself and my life now."

The Dream & Christina Milian Are OVER!!!

The dream and Christina Milan

Well its been confirmed that the marriage between producer The Dream and Christina Milian is officially OVER!!! This was pretty evident since they haven’t been seen together in months. The Dream’s rep confirmed the split with US Weekly saying:
Terius ‘The-Dream’ Nash is saddened to announce that his marriage to Christina Milian was unsuccessful. The couple reached this decision in late 2009, but decided to keep the news private in efforts to protect their baby daughter Violet. They ask for consideration and respect for their family moving forward.
The Dream and his Personal Assistant (assisting him.... lol )

The split confirmation comes as racy photos surface of The-Dream and his assistant of about a year, Melissa Santiago, frolicking in the Caribbean. The producer and singer (who released his third album, Love King, on June 29), 32, proposed to Milian, 28, in July 2009 with a six-carat diamond ring from Ivanka Trump’s jewelry line. The couple eloped last September in Las Vegas, and said “I Do” a second time in Rome in December. They welcomed daughter Violet five months ago.

Christina Milian and baby Violet are doing just fine as mother and daughter (seen below) were spotted hanging out in L.A. over the weekend.

The Most Incredible Hair you've NEVER Seen - Ruslana Korshunova

I saw this on http://dumage.com and wanted to share it with my readers.

When I saw these pictures for the first time, I was delighted. I found out that her name is Ruslana Korshunova and that she was supermodel. Unfortunately I found out what happened to this 20 years old girl from Kazakhstan – she took her life on June 28, 2008. These photos are from 2006 when she was only 19. So sadly, she is beautiful…

Here what we found about her on Wikipedia:
Ruslana Sergeyevna Korshunova (July 2, 1987 – June 28, 2008) was a Kazakh model of Russian descent. After establishing herself as a rising figure in the fashion industry by posing for magazines like Vogue and designers such as Vera Wang and Nina Ricci, Korshunova’s mysterious death after falling off her Manhattan apartment’s balcony on June 28, 2008 became the subject of international attention.

Early life and career

Ruslana Korshunova was born in Taldykorgan, Alma-Ata, Kazakh SSR, and was of Russian descent. Her father, Sergey Korshunov, died in 1992 when she was 5 years old. Her mother, Valentina (née Kutenkova) and her brother, Ruslan, live in Kazakhstan. She spoke fluent Russian, English and German.

She was discovered in 2003, when All Asia magazine printed a story on Almaty’s local German language club, which Korshunova was then attending. Her photograph, which was featured in the article, caught the attention of Debbie Jones of Models 1; Jones tracked down and signed up the then 15-year-old Korshunova, who was nicknamed the Russian Rapunzel for her long knee length chestnut hair in her early work. Korshunova was represented by IMG (New York, Paris, London and Milan), Beatrice (Milan), Traffic Models (Barcelona), Marilyn Models and iCasting Moscow, which was her mother agency. British Vogue hailed Korshunova as “a face to be excited about” in 2005. Korshunova modeled for the covers of French Elle and the Polish and Russian versions of Vogue. She also modeled in print-ads for Blugirl by Blumarine, Clarins, Ghost, Girbaud, Kenzo Accessories, Marithé & François, Max Studio, Moschino, Old England, Pantene Always Smooth, Paul Smith, and Vera Wang lingerie. She also appeared in a perfume commercial for Nina by Nina Ricci.
Death
On June 28, 2008 at around 2:30 p.m., Korshunova died after falling from the ninth-floor balcony of her apartment at 130 Water Street in Manhattan’s Financial District. Police stated there were no signs of a struggle in her apartment and concluded that Korshunova’s death was an apparent suicide, although no suicide note was found. One of Korshunova’s friends stated that she had just returned from a modeling gig in Paris, noting that she seemed to be “on top of the world” with no apparent reason why she would commit suicide. Korshunova planned to celebrate her 21st birthday on Wednesday in Pennsylvania. Korshunova’s former boyfriend, Artem Perchenok, stated that he dropped Korshunova off at her apartment several hours before her death after they watched the Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore film Ghost together. “I feel that she came to say goodbye,” said Perchenok. “She was a good person,” he added to The New York Post. However, Korshunova appeared brokenhearted and angry in some of her postings on a social networking site. Korshunova’s most telling message came in March 2008: “I’m so lost. Will I ever find myself?”. Friends said Korshunova had a stomachache before her death, a small complaint, but in this high-pressure world, “one little knot is the book on the shelf that makes it go down,” he said. Police said that only some prescription pill bottles were found in her apartment with Russian labels. Experts did not find traces of someone else’s skin underneath her nails. Korshunova’s mother, Valentina Kutenkova does not believe in her daughter’s suicide. “She told me about her work problems about a year ago. She said that she wanted to quit the modeling business. Everything was fine with her recently though. If she had had problems at work, she would have told me,” she said. Korshunova was close with her mother, who still lives in the Kazakh city of Almaty, where the model grew up. According to the official version, Ruslana cut the nylon net covering the façade during construction works.

After that the model allegedly climbed through the hole and jumped down. Korshunova’s mutilated body was found on the dividing strip on Water Street. To get to that part of the road from the balcony, Ruslana would have to have made a running jump. Judging by the placement of the body, the jump would have to be made from the next building. The model’s mother demanded additional investigation, but the police were not willing to show initiative. Muhammad Naqib, an old concierge who worked in Korshunova’s building shed some light on the model’s death. “I was shocked when I saw her on the pavement. She was on the road, small and pitiful, in a puddle of blood, surrounded by a crowd. Her arms and neck were broken,” the man said. Muhammad was immediately suspicious. “Only next day I realized what was wrong. It was her hair! It was much shorter than when I last saw her that night, lively and happy. It seemed like it was cut in a hurry since the ends were uneven.” “All I got is a polite ‘thank you.’ But nobody called me for an interview,” said Moscow autopsist Sergey who worked on her makeup in a Moscow morgue. “The hair could fall out because of a strong impact, but it could not become shorter. When I was preparing the body for a funeral, I noticed that the hair was in a very poor condition. I even offered to find her a wig, but her relatives refused. The ends were uneven, as if someone had cut it with scissors.” According to the testimony of many witnesses, no strangers or suspicious people were noticed on the day of Ruslana’s death in her building on Water Street. The back exit in the yard is visible to the concierge, and nobody could pass by the reception unnoticed. During her last visit, Korshunova’s mother stopped by the apartment. According to Ruslana’s friends, Valentina spent several hours at the door of the apartment. She is still hoping to find the answer from American police.

On July 7, 2008, Korshunova was buried at Khovanskoye Cemetery in Moscow. Her mother stated to Russian newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda that the Russian capital was one of her daughter’s favorite cities, and that “She would want her beloved Moscow to be her last resting place.”

Are Black Women Finding it Difficult to Get a Good Date?

by Lola Adesioye, Huffington Post
Over the past few months, black women and their relationships - or should I say, lack thereof - have been getting a lot of attention. The Washington Posthas done a couple of features on it. Then ABC'sNightline did a show asking why there are so many single black women.
All of a sudden the mainstream media is taking a keen interest in our love lives. We are being told that there is a 'crisis' amongst black women, particularly educated professional women, who are apparently unable to find a 'decent' black man.
Last night, ABC continued once again, with the airing of "Why Can't a Successful Black Woman Find a Man?," a taped discussion featuring Hill Harper, Steve Harvey, The View's Sherri Shepherd and others.
There's no doubt that it's a topic that sparks heated debates and discussions amongst black women and men. It has for years. But is it really that bad? Or is the media - now that it has found a hot topic - exploiting this issue for all that it's worth? I'm an educated black woman and I personally have no problem with meeting eligible, educated, great black men. Whether or not I choose to date them is another thing, but they are out there.
I am somewhat perturbed by the slew of stories on this topic. They are negative, unhelpful and only serve to perpetuate negative ideas about black men and women which often become self-fullfiling. They basically say 'oh, poor black women. They try so hard yet can't find a decent man ... Boo hoo, black women are victims. Ooh, it's all the fault of those pathetic black men. You know, they have no education or are locked up in jail.' Sorry, but I do not subscribe to that view

Lawrence Fishburne’s daughter explains her reason for going into PORN

"I've watched how successful Kim Kardashian became and I think a lot of it was due to the release of her sex tape by Vivid," Fishburne said in the press release." I'm hoping the same magic will work for me. I'm impatient about getting well-known and having more opportunities and this seemed like a great way to get started on it."

Jay Z Addresses Illuminati Rumous

He's a amazing, not a Mason, says Jay-Z in his latest song with rapper Rick Ross. The reigning king of hip hop moguldom is hitting back at the widespread urban legend that he is part of a devil-worshipping secret society of Freemasons., reports MTV News.

Jay addresses the rumors on "Free Masons," a collaboration with Ross. "If y'all n---as fear me, just say y'all fear me," raps Jay. "F--- all these fairy tales/ Go to hell, this is God engineering/ ... I said I was amazing/ Not that I'm a Mason .../ I'm on my third six, but a devil I'm not. ..."

The rapper was equally forthcoming about the rumors during an interview with a
New York radio station. "I got a lot of money," he told Power 105.1 radio host Ed Lover earlier this year. "When people get a lot of money, they start getting those rumors, like Tom CruiseWillie Smith. That's ridiculous."

"Of course we are together. I love my wife and kids. People say these things to sell their papers. They know that bad news sells. But let people understand this, no bad news follows me. I treat every bad news before it gets anywhere. I am a happily married man with a wife who's very enduring, understands my profession and appreciates me for who I am. Actress Anita Joseph almost hangs on movie set

Popular Nollywood actress, Anita Joseph, came very close to being hanged on location of her latest movie ‘Titanic Hustle.’

In the movie, Anita Joseph played the role of a woman who mistakenly killed her husband and was so devastated by her role in her husband’s death that she decided to hang herself. Incidentally, it was during the act of shooting the hanging scene that disaster struck, as what was supposed to be a make-belief hanging scene turned real and Anita Joseph almost got herself killed.

While trying to get her neck into the noose and keeping her feet on the raised platform, the noose tightened around her neck and she simultaneously lost her footing.

“I don’t know what happened. I think they forgot to pull the rope or something and I almost died. Though it was a mistake, when I came down, my eyes were turning and I almost quit,” she said.

Woman Wanted Biggest Breasts In The World, Now They Are Literally Killing Her

Sheyla Hershey, a Brazilian model who lives in Houston wanted to have the largest breasts in the world, and she did achieve it when she had M-cup implants put into place. After more than 30 plastic surgeries, Hershey suffered her first complication following her most recent breast augmentation procedure in June. A severe staph infection reached both of Hershey's breasts.

Staph infections can enter the bloodstream and be life threatening. She has had to give herself infusions of intravenous antibiotics every twelve hours to fight the infection. The treatment has helped one breast, but doctors say the other one is still in jeopardy. That would mean that she will not only lose both implants, but quite possibly need to have the entire breast removed.

Doctors who are concerned for her life took Hershey into surgery just this past Tuesday to remove the implants.

"I had large fever and painful. I just couldn't breathe properly; it was terrible! I was in bed all day, couldn't get up," says Hershey

Official Statement from MOHIT on Wande Coal’s Nude Picture Saga

It has come to our notice that a purported nude picture of Wande Coal is being circulated on social networking site, Twiiter and that made him a trending topic yesterday and early hours of today.

Wande is very grateful to those who have shown him love and as well to those who were constructive in their criticisms. He is saying a massive THANK YOU.

We also want to state categorically that there is nothing wrong or to be ashamed about being naked BUT THE PICTURES IN QUESTION ARE NOT THOSE OF WANDE COAL, the multiple Hip Hop World Award winner. That is not him and that can never be him.

It is worthy of note to let you know that the rising star has been a target of orchestrated attacks in past months. Few months ago false reports of him being treated in a psychiatric home were widely circulated even when he was busy performing in shows in Nigeria and around the world. Later, another report of him slapping a fellow in a club was initiated by some faceless people as well, a report which was false in its entirety. Last year it was also reported that he slapped 9ice during an argument, a report 9ice himself denied. Now, it is a false naked picture that is being used.

We have reason to believe that the person behind these nude pictures is the same person(s) behind earlier negative and false stories. Therefore, we are no longer taking the matter lightly. Appropriate security agencies have been briefed and investigations are on-going so as to ascertain true identity of the culprit and bring him or her to book.

Wande would also like to appeal to his numerous fans to keep calm and assure them that he won’t stop making good music, love them and keep right in all his doings.
